Qld: Police appeal for info on gunmen

Queensland police are still appealing for information as they hunt for two gunmen who
shot a woman and her son east of Toowoomba on Monday night.

The 58-year-old woman and her 31-year-old son were shot at after they stumbled upon
a man's body in a crashed station wagon.

The pair are in a stable condition in hospital and police say there will be a post
mortem on the body of the man found in the car to establish the cause of death.

Police say the wanted men are armed and dangerous -- and people in the Toowoomba and
Helidon areas should stay on the alert.

The gunmen are described as in their 20s, of thin build and about 180cm tall.

Police also want to hear from anyone with information on a single vehicle accident
involving the red Ford Falcon station wagon in which the man's body was found.
